Application start for EXIST-Women 2026
Good news: The EXIST-Women funding programme will continue and enter its third round in January 2026. The University of Applied Sciences Potsdam is once again taking its budding female entrepreneurs on the exciting journey of founding a company. All (former) members of the FHP can apply until 30/10/2025.
From 2026, female graduates, scientists, students and women with a professional qualification and a connection to a university of applied sciences can once again be supported for a period of 12 months. The EXIST-Women funding line of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) includes events, counselling and support services as well as a financial grant for prospective female founders.
Applications for the programme should be submitted by 30/10/2025 via email to 360gradzukunft@fh-potsdam.de
What EXIST-Women offers at a glance
- Participation in a 12-month qualification programme for business start-ups
- Individual coaching
- Entrepreneurial support from a mentor
- Nationwide network of female founders
- One-off funding of 2,000 Euro (e.g. for coaching, travel expenses, etc.)
- optional 3-month grant (to bridge a lack of income or low income) of 1,000 Euro to 3,000 Euro/month (depending on qualifications) + child supplement
