Our understanding of consulting
As your student advisor, we will advise you on all matters relating to your studies and help you to make informed decisions. This is always very individual and the decision is ultimately yours. The purpose of the counselling is to help you to help yourself. Anything we discuss will remain between us. We will not pass on any information about you, not even to university staff. Your questions and needs are the focus of our counselling sessions. The aim is to find a solution to your concerns. We take time for you, treat your concerns confidentially and give you impartial advice.
