First Level Support for Lecturers for Moodle Courses

We maintain a HelpDesk wiki for Moodle on this page and offer first-level support e-mail. Regular Moodle support is provided by decentralized Moodle supervisors from the departments.

HelpDesk Wiki for Moodle

In our HelpDesk Wiki, you will find general help on Moodle. We also provide recommendations for organizing processes for using Moodle in teaching or for online examinations.

Moodle portal

Moodle is used as a web-based learning platform at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. There are three different Moodle instances:  Moodle Lehre for teaching in the departments, Moodle Prüfungen for online exams and Moodle Transfer for further education and digital offerings that have an external target group.

Former (student) employees say about us ...

Student employees in the areas of graphic design and web editing from October 2022 - September 2024

‘As a student employee at ZEDI/ZESL in the Digital Teaching department, I was able to gain a lot of experience in two years. I was given a lot of responsibility right from the start, which gave me the opportunity to work independently. In addition to working independently, there was always a close dialogue. I was able to look behind the scenes and contribute to various projects.’

Research assistant and student e-learning consultant in the ZEDI e-learning team from June 2020 – November 2021

“I found working in the ZEDI team very enriching, both from a professional perspective and as an FHP student. Everyone can contribute their individual skills and continue their education. Since sustainable knowledge transfer is important to me, I was happy about the open exchange that was practiced and encouraged at ZEDI. As a research assistant, I was given the feeling that I could make a contribution to digital teaching at my university of applied sciences.”

Student e-learning consultant in the ZEDI e-learning team from August 2021 – September 2022

“The position at ZEDI was a perfect introduction to working as a student assistant, as not only the work but also the teamwork plays a major role here. Right from the start, I was given a lot of trust without being left alone. I am glad that I was able to support larger and smaller projects and at the same time make a lasting contribution to the further development of digital teaching at the university.”

Student e-learning consultant and web editor in the ZEDI e-learning team from January 2021 – September 2022

“As an student assistant, I was trusted to try out things that were new to me right from the start. At the same time, there was always someone from the team I could turn to if I had any difficulties. It was like jumping in at the deep end, but with a life jacket.”

Student e-learning consultant in the ZEDI e-learning team from January 2021 – August 2022

“ZEDI gave me the opportunity to develop my skills in the areas of consulting, training and first-level support, among others. Thanks to a strong and dynamic team with an open feedback culture, everyone was able to develop and expand digital teaching offerings together in the challenging times of the coronavirus pandemic.”
