Welcome to the start of the degree programme Conservation and Restauration at the CITY | BUILDING | CULTURE department at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. We are organizing an introductory week for first-year students and newly enrolled students at the start of the semester.

Information on the start of studies

The faculty of the degree programme Conservation and Restauration is looking forward to welcoming you in the winter semester 2023/24!

We invite you to the official welcome by the lecturers in the degree programme Conservation and Restauration on Monday, the 25th of September 2023 at 9.00 am. The meeting point is in house A/room 308.

We wish you lots of success in your first steps into your studies and look forward to meeting you!

Dates for the start of the semester at a glance

Monday, 23/09/2024, 9.00 am | Welcome

The official welcome in the degree programme Conservation and Restauration takes place at 09:00 in House A / Room 308. At the introductory event, you will receive the most important information for starting your studies, including the study plan, timetable and organisational questions. After the introduction, there will be a short tour of the laboratory and workshops of the degree programme in the laboratory and workshop building.

There will then be an opportunity to get to know each other better at a subsequent brunch on the terrace.

Your first course, the block course M 20.1 Photographic Technology 1 with Christoph Otto, starts on Monday, the 23rd of September 2024, at 2.00 pm in A 022.

Note on the 2024 semester ticket

Please note that the semester ticket is only valid from the 1st of October 2024! For trips to the campus before this date, you must pay for the corresponding tickets yourself.
