Equal opportunities at our university
The University of Applied Sciences Potsdam stands for diversity. Our aim is to ensure that the path to university, to a successful degree or in the work areas is fair, regardless of origin or gender.
Individual development opportunities & flexible offers
We want to support our university members and, in addition to individual development opportunities, offer flexible programmes that are ideal for combining family and studies or career. We work against disadvantages and discrimination. University members with disabilities help to shape everyday university life. The representatives for the severely handicapped and the commissioner for university employees with impairment provide support in this regard.
Family
We are a family-friendly university. Are you already familiar with the services offered by the FAMteam and our family centres?
Equality
The interests of and consequences for the genders must be considered in all projects and decisions. The central and decentralised equal opportunities commissioners at the FHP take care of this.
Study barrier-free
Barrier-free access to the campus, compensation for disadvantages in examinations, ... - The commissioner for university employees with impairment offers you guidance.
Representatives for the severely handicapped
The representatives for the severely handicapped represents the interests of people with disabilities and people at risk of disability. Among other things, it promotes the participation of people with disabilities in working life.
Attractive and accessible – Aspects of an accessible university
What could a university for all look like? As part of the exhibition ?Attractive and accessible – aspects of a barrier-free university?, students presented ideas and individual solutions for an accessible, barrier-free campus as part of the 3rd Inclusion Days of the City of Potsdam in May 2023.
