Honorary professorships
Individuals who work full-time outside the university and who have achieved outstanding academic or artistic achievements may be appointed honorary professor by the president of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. The appointment requires several years of teaching at a university.

The Brandenburg university act regulates honorary professorships in § 61.
The procedure for appointing honorary professors is regulated in the appointment regulations of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam in § 26 ff.
