Resolving professional disputes through conflict management
The fact is that dealing with conflicts positively protects against psychological strain, stress, and psychosomatic illnesses. In this workshop, run in partnership with Techniker Krankenkasse, participants will learn how to recognise potential conflicts before they escalate.
Career starters always face a particular challenge after graduation: they have to integrate into existing teams and adapt to unfamiliar structures. Especially at the beginning, new employees are often confronted with conflicts. Divergent views or different interests usually play a role here. Such conflicts can cause a high level of psychological stress and lead to chronic stress disorders, fear of failure and resignation.
The conflict management workshop teaches strategies and techniques that help to recognise conflicts in good time, defuse them and turn them into something positive. Conflict-inhibiting, de-escalating behaviour and dealing with emotions/aggression are trained by means of individual and group exercises, exemplary problem cases and an exchange of experiences. Practising specific conversation techniques is intended to promote self-confidence and strengthen successful cooperation.
