Art, Design and Technology: Werkschau at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam on 20th and 21st of July
Works from the past winter and summer semesters will be presented at the annual exhibition of the Department of Design at University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. The focus will also be on the results and experiences of the thematic semester #Democracy!
From artisanal design processes and the design of publications to the artistic staging of light in indoor and outdoor spaces, the exhibits show the wide range of design approaches. The students intensively explored topics such as the connection between nature and technology, the design of physical interfaces for electronic music and the use of photography as a tool. Through their experimental approaches and creative curiosity, they demonstrate their commitment to innovative design concepts and forward-looking ideas.

A compact lecture programme and selected exhibits invite guests and university members to exchange views on the topics and questions of the democracy semester and to take a look into the future.
Students and lecturers will present results and experiences from the following courses and put them up for discussion:
- 75 years of the Basic Law
- Who shapes participation?
- Personal rights
- The river
- Political communication
- Mapping Cities - Making Cities
- Vote for good
