Welcome and Orientation Days for international students in the winter semester 2025/26
With the Welcome and Orientation Days, the International Office supports international students in making a successful start to their studies at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. At the same time, the programme offers a wide range of opportunities to get to know the city of Potsdam and its surroundings and to make initial contacts.
At the start of the winter semester 2025/26, the International Office of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam is organising the Welcome and Orientation Days. The multi-day programme will take place from the 25th to the 27th of September, 2025 and is aimed both at new international students who are completing their entire studies at FHP and at exchange students who are coming to Potsdam for one or two semesters.
During the Welcome and Orientation Days, participants receive comprehensive information about studying, campus life and organisational issues relating to their stay in Potsdam. A guided tour of the campus will enable them to get to know the university better. In addition, an open question and answer session offers the opportunity to clarify individual concerns directly with the International Office team.
The programme is complemented by activities organised by the FHP Connect student team. The programme includes a city tour of Potsdam, an evening together in the various bars in Potsdam and a trip to Berlin. These activities give students the opportunity to discover their new surroundings and socialise with other students.
