Kick-off for national Diamond Open Access service centre - FHP heads the "SeDOA Innovation Lab (SIL)"

From 30/06/2025 to 01/07/2025, the official kick-off meeting for the establishment of the national service point for Diamond Open Access (SeDOA) funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) took place at the FU Berlin in Berlin-Dahlem.
Together with 14 partners from all over Germany and with the participation of the AG Universit?tsverlage, SeDOA aims to strengthen science-led, royalty-free publishing in the Diamond Open Access (DOA) process and to establish a national, central point of contact for scientists and institutions on the subject of DOA.
The role of the FHP is to lead the "SeDOA-Innovation Lab (SIL)" work package, which will develop innovative concepts and approaches for the dynamisation of the Diamond Open Access model. The FHP is also involved in the "Networking bob体育平台官网s" work package. The University of Applied Sciences Potsdam is represented in the SeDOA consortium by Prof. Dr Ulrike Wuttke and Dr Sabine de Günther, who was welcomed as a new member of staff on Friday the 1st of May, 2025.
In addition to getting to know each other, the kick-off meeting focussed on identifying strategic cross-cutting topics.
