This workshop will cover the following topics:

• Procedures for online and in-person job interviews
• Frequently asked interview questions and effective response strategies
• Tips on appearance, behaviour, and mindset during the interview
• Setting salary expectations and negotiating with confidence
• Managing nervousness

In line with the workshop's design, theory is immediately followed by practice: you will choose a job that interests you and analyse the job advertisement based on the instructions provided. Next, you will learn about the most frequently asked interview questions and response strategies, taking notes on how you can answer them. After covering how to determine a realistic salary expectation and approach salary negotiations strategically, you'll define your salary expectation for the chosen position. There will also be time to address your individual questions.

The event is a free offer of the career entry programme Work@Heart and is aimed at students, graduates and employees of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. The lecture will take place online via Zoom. The access link will be sent after successful registration.
