Retrospective
The FHP Mobile with "Planning for real" at DREISSIG! in Volkspark Potsdam
Together with the FHP Mobil, we attended the DREISSIG! event on the 10th of June 2023, a celebration of the thirtieth anniversary of the development agency Bornstedter Feld GmbH, which was once founded with the ambitious vision of creating a new and liveable district for Potsdam.
The DREISSIG! festival, which took place in the picturesque Volkspark Potsdam, was a tribute to the neighbourhood that is also home to the FHP. Bornstedt is now home to over 14,000 residents and their number is growing unstoppably. In addition to live music and a varied programme for the whole family, the development agency Bornstedter Feld GmbH presented the impressive growth of recent years in an impressive exhibition of aerial photographs.
We also wanted to show how our campus is developing. We chose the "Planning for real" project for this, which was created as part of an Interflex course during the 2022/2023 winter semester. It dealt intensively with the question of what our campus centre could look like once the last missing new building has been completed. This captivating project has already been presented to the public as part of the exhibition "Attractive and accessible – aspects of a barrier-free university" and provided in-depth insights. In addition, the "Inclusion Days" website offers a comprehensive presentation of the project with an audio contribution by the responsible lecturer Prof. Dr. Michael Prytula.
In Michael Kreutzer, we had an ideal partner at our side who, as one of the project's lecturers, inspired the visitors and provided fascinating insights into the project. A custom-built scale model of the campus and ten posters provided an excellent overview of the students' visions and ideas expressed in this project.
