Donate Blood, Save Lives – Come to the Campaign on the 7th of May!
On the 7th of May, a blood donation campaign will take place in the foyer of the main building of the FH Potsdam in cooperation with the DRK. We invite you to visit us between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm – every donation counts.
Following the successful stem cell donor registration last year, the StuRa of the CITY | BUILDING | CULTURE department is now organising a blood donation campaign in cooperation with the German Red Cross (DRK).
Around 14,000 to 15,000 blood donations are needed every day in Germany to ensure patient care. As blood stocks are often too low, every single donation is of great importance. The last blood drive at the UAS Potsdam took place in 2019, and now this important tradition is to be resumed.
On the 7th of May 2025, all students, staff and interested parties can donate blood in the foyer of the main building from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. The DRK team will take care of the entire process on this day, including looking after donors and providing information material.
Every donation can save lives. Any support is therefore greatly appreciated.
