Doctoral and Research Colloquium: Framework Conditions for the Doctorate in a Research Project using the Example of TDR4HAW

Framework conditions for a doctorate in a research project using the example: TDR4HAW. Transdisciplinary research at universities of applied sciences – status quo and potential of a sleeping giant
The consortium project TDR4HAW (FHP, HNEE, CHE; 09/2024-08/2027) systematically analyses how transdisciplinary research is implemented at universities of applied sciences (HAW), what institutional anchoring it has and what potential it holds for the further development of the German research and higher education system. From the perspective of science and higher education research, the project analyses how a transdisciplinary research mode takes place at HAW and which measures can contribute to its professionalisation.
TDR4HAW is funded within the framework of the BMBF funding line "Science and Higher Education Research" and explicitly provides for the qualification of scientists within the framework of a doctorate or in their postdoc phase. The lecture presents the central research questions and the mixed-methods design of the project and highlights the framework conditions, opportunities and challenges for the further scientific qualification of the project staff.
All interested parties are cordially invited to attend. Registration is not required. The event is part of the doctoral and research colloquium of the InNoWest project.
