Symposium "Anti-Semitism in the Context of Schools in Thuringia ? Findings and Recommendations for Reflection from the Study"
The symposium deals with the question of how current anti-Semitism appears in Thuringian schools and how it is perceived, categorised and dealt with by teachers, presents findings from the study "Anti-Semitism in the Context of Schools in Thuringia ? Interpretations and Ways of Dealing with it by Teachers at Thuringian Schools" and offers space for discussion about effective options for action.
The Thuringian study is part of the federal state study series "Antisemitism in the Context of Schools" and was carried out between 2020 and 2023 at the Competence Centre for Education and Research Critical of Antisemitism in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. The project was funded by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth as part of the federal "Live Democracy!" programme and by the Thuringian Institute for Teacher Training, Curriculum Development and Media (THILLM).
The symposium is an event organised by the Competence Centre for Education and Research Critical of Anti-Semitism and the Thuringian Institute for Teacher Training, Curriculum Development and Media (ThILLM).
