Studying without Stress: Strategies for a healthy Work-Life Balance
The workshop identifies personal challenges and resources and explains psychological strategies to strengthen the work-life balance.
Psychologist and workshop leader J?rg Bergmann knows how important healthy self-care is in change processes and emphasises that the transition from school to university as well as examination phases or private changes such as parenthood can be decisive life turning points. Many students find it difficult to find a good balance and feel stressed and dissatisfied.
However, a good balance between studies and private life is crucial to prevent burnout, maximise productivity and promote well-being.
These are the key issues and goals:
- What challenges do I face in balancing my studies and personal life?
- What resources and strategies do I have?
- What works well and what doesn't?
- What are effective strategies for balancing study and private life from a psychological perspective?
- Networking, understanding and sharing best practices
- Gain psychological knowledge to improve your own study-life balance strategy
Important notes:
The workshop is a co-operation with the Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) and consists of two interdependent dates: the actual workshop with a duration of 3.5 hours and a follow-up workshop of 90 minutes to deepen what has been learnt and to clarify further questions.
Participation does not replace medical treatment or long-term therapeutic measures.
The event is a free offer from the Work@Heart programme and the first part will take place in person. The second session will be held online via Zoom. Registration via e-mail to 360gradzukunft@fh-potsdam.de.
